Pretty Ugly #3 made it’s debut at the National Young Writers Festival zine fair in October of 2003. We decided to go with another loose theme for this issue and explore the various forms of writing. #3 included features on Angela Carter, pen pal writing, journal writing and zine writing - with lots of zinester interviews and reviews. We also explored song writing in our interview with US trip-hop band Beauty’s Confusion, and talk to WomenWriters.net editor Kim Wells. There are also the regular rants, reviews and goodies, and a couple of short stories by Lisa Fenton. Each copy also came with a free Pretty Ugly pen! Samples of this issue will be online soon.
